Asia's largest wooden building

Singapore is called the city of gardens. Nature is given great importance here. A six-storey college building has been built in Singapore with respect to nature.
The building is made of wood. At Nanyang Technological University (NTU), everything from benches to door frames is made of wood. According to the information of the American media CNN, it is now the largest wooden building in Asia in terms of floor area (43 thousand 500 square meters).
The project, named after the mythological Greek goddess Gaia, was unveiled last May. One thousand and seven crores of Bangladeshi currency has been spent on the construction of this building. New generation engineered wood has been used in the construction of the building. The structures are erected by placing wood and glue in several layers. No different colors are used in it. It is designed in such a way that visitors feel like walking in a forest.
This project was implemented by Japanese architect Toyo Ito. He said, "I always try to incorporate natural elements like water, trees, etc. into the design."
