According to WhatsApp, if an unwanted message or spam message arrives from an unknown number, users can now directly block specific accounts without accessing the sender's chatbox and unlocking the phone's screen. As a result, accounts sending spam messages will be blocked faster than at present. This new feature will be very helpful in preventing spam messages.

It is known that to block accounts that send spam messages without unlocking the phone screen, you need to use the updated version of WhatsApp and enable the popup notification feature. As a result, even if the phone's screen is locked, the notification of all messages coming to WhatsApp will be seen in popup form. After receiving the spam message in the popup notification, clicking the block option next to the reply button will block the account of the person who sent the spam message. A complaint can also be made against that account if desired
