Jyothika in Bollywood after 25 years

South popular actress Jyothika returned to Bollywood after 25 years. She played one of the lead roles in the film 'Shaitan' produced and starred by Ajay Devgan. Jyothika told the reason behind staying away from Hindi cinema for so many years.

Last Thursday, the trailer release of Bikash Bahl's film Shaitan was organized at a multiplex in Mumbai. A metaphysical thriller, the film deals with themes like subjugation and black magic. Bollywood star Ar Madhavan is becoming the devil in the film.

Jyothik made his debut in 1998 with Priyadarshan's Hindi film Dolly Saja Ke Rakha. In between, he somehow disappeared from Bollywood. But worked in the south. This southern star is excited to return to Bollywood after a long time. In this context, Jyotika said, 'I worked here after 25 years. Busy with work in the south. I was waiting for something special to come back here (Bollywood). I think something different needs to be done at this stage of career. And it's very challenging.

Jyothika will be seen in the role of Ajay's wife in Shaitan. Talking about the experience of working with Ajay, this southern actress said, 'Ajay is very generous as an actor. Ajay was the biggest surprise for me for this film. The way he behaved throughout the shoot, treated everyone; It's unbelievable. I have worked with many actors. I have worked with almost all the actors especially South. But no one in the south gave me a chance in the picture poster. Here is a picture of the poster. My last film was with Mammootty sir, now I have worked with Ajay. It's great to see Mammootty sir and Ajay working from the front.”

Jyotika has worked with Madhavan in several films before. However, she was seen romancing Madhavan more on screen. In this film, Madhavan is not the hero, but the villain. Jyotika said, 'I have worked with Madhavan before. But in this film we are going to come in a different way. I am very happy to work with him again.
