Shaheen can't accept PCB's decision about Rauf

Haris Rauf has been dropped from the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) central contract for refusing to play Tests on the tour of Australia. The PCB committee's decision was taken after a 'thorough hearing process' and 'consideration of all concerned', the notification said. Besides, the PCB also said that he will not be allowed to play in any foreign league till June 30 of the year.

On the eve of the start of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan T20 team captain Shaheen Shah Afridi himself can accept PCB's decision. Shaheen was not impressed at all, especially when the PCB took this decision.

However, if he can handle this shock, Shaheen thinks that Rauf will do well in PSL.
Pakistan national team teammates Shaheen and Rauf also play in the PSL for the same club, Lahore Qalandars. Shaheen's Lahore will face Islamabad United in the first match of the tournament today. Shaheen is unable to exclude his teammate Rauf from the central contract before the start of the tournament.

Criticizing the PCB, the Lahore captain said, "I don't have much to say about the decision of the PCB." But the decision came at a time when our match was a day away. Haris is a very strong boy mentally. Hopefully, it won't affect him too much. And PCB will probably realize that it is not right to take such a decision at this time.
