Warner confirmed the end of T20 World Cup

Australia Australia's last international innings report David Warner. It was part of his retirement plan, so no goals. However, Warner has reiterated that he wants to hang up the Australia jersey after playing T20 cricket in June.
Australia lost by 37 runs in the third and final T20 of the series against the West Indies in Perth yesterday. Warner, who retired from Tests and ODIs, played an innings of 81 runs in this match. He was also Man of the Match in Australia's 2-1 series win.

At the post-match award ceremony, Warner was asked whether he would retire after the T20 World Cup. To which the 37-year-old Australian left-handed opener replied, 'Yes, I'm over there.' Warner then said, 'Now is the time to match the youngsters. We have a lot of talented players.'
Gilchrist asked Warner directly to confirm, 'So that was the last time you saw David Warner in an Australian jersey on Australian soil?' Warner replied, 'Yes, of course.' Referring to playing in the T20 World Cup, Warner said, 'After the New Zealand series, I will play in the IPL and then go to the Caribbean for the World Cup...the boundary will not be too big. There.'
Warner ended his career in this edition with the Test series against Pakistan last January. He also announced his retirement from ODIs. However, he also stated that in the 2025 Champions Trophy, Australia will be available if needed.
