There are various language teaching institutions in the country. Here are 5

1. University of Dhaka

There is an opportunity to learn foreign languages in the Modern Language Institute of Dhaka University. Learn Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Persian, Russian, Spanish, Korean, Turkish and Hindi. For admission to Junior Certificate courses, minimum HSC equivalent examination is required. Check this link for details.

2. North South University

The Confucius Institute at North South University offers opportunities to learn Chinese. You can enroll in Basic Chinese and Speaking Chinese courses. There are four levels of learning Chinese. See details here.

3. Independent University, Bangladesh

The King Sejong Institute is run by Independent University, Bangladesh in collaboration with the Korean government. There are opportunities to learn Korean from here. Basic to intermediate labels can be learned. See details here.

4. Jahangirnagar University

You can learn English, French, Japanese, German, Chinese, Korean and Spanish at Jahangirnagar University. Minimum HSC pass for course admission. For details you can contact the language education center office (TSC building) of the university. Or check last year admission notification.

5. Rajshahi University

Rajshahi University offers admission to certificate courses in 10 languages under the Institute of English and Other Languages. Duration of various courses is 6 months. As part of the certificate course, you can learn English, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, Russian, Korean. Admission-seeking students should have minimum second division or GPA 2.50 in SSC and HSC examinations in certificate courses. See details here.
